What is Oslo Innovation Week?
Oslo Innovation Week invites you to the heart of Nordic innovation.
Oslo Innovation Week 2026 will take place from 19–22 October, and is an umbrella event uniting Norwegian and international incubators, investors, and other relevant players in the startup and innovation ecosystem. We aim to help Norwegian companies grow, promote Oslo and Norway as good places for business, attract and keep tech talent, and bring more investment to Norwegian startups and scaleups.
What is the difference between the Main Programme and the Side Programme?
In 2026, OIW introduces a more focused programme structure with two distinct tracks.
The Main Programme consists of up to 20 curated flagship events, selected for their international relevance, strategic alignment and delivery capacity.
The Side Programme is open to the wider ecosystem: a vibrant collection of independent events that together reflect the full strength and diversity of Oslo's innovation community. Both tracks are an essential part of what makes Oslo Innovation Week unique.
When and where is Oslo Innovation Week happening?
Oslo Innovation Week 2026 takes place from 19-22 October 2026 in Oslo, Norway.
In 2025 over 50 locations were used in the city centre showcasing the best of our compact city.
In addition to the many amazing locations, there will be a headquarters where guests can meet outside of events.

Who attends Oslo Innovation Week ?
Each year, Oslo Innovation Week attracts around 15,000 people across numerous events, with 25–30% of attendees coming from abroad.
It brings together startup and scaleup founders, investors, creatives, tech experts, policymakers, students, and anyone interested in entrepreneurship and innovation.
In 2025, participants from 40 countries joined, with especially strong representation from Nordic countries, Western Europe, and North America.

Where do I buy tickets?
There is not 1 ticket to access all events at Oslo Innovation Week.
Each event has its own registration process. Some require tickets, some need registration, and others are open. Browse the Program page and apply—event hosts will review your registration and reach out with updates on your registration status.

When should I get to Oslo?
Oslo Innovation Week 2026 takes places from 19-22 October 2026.
Can I get hotel discounts in Oslo?
Offers from hotel partners are not available yet for 2026.
How do I move around the city?
Oslo is a small city, so most of time it possible to walk from one event to the next. Or, use Ruter, Oslo's public transport system, to get on tram, bus, boat or bike. Tickets are available in the Ruter app.
What to do in Oslo beyond Oslo Innovation Week?
Oslo has a buzzing food, culture and nature scene. Explore the green surroundings or go on an island hopping adventure in the Oslo Fjord. Unwind with a sauna session and refreshing dip in the ocean followed by a visit to the Munch museum and a fine meal at a Nordic cuisine restaurant.
